The intro jumps right into a moving melodic riff which transforms into a jumpy verse and chorus. All this leads up to a great solo and then falls into a break-down. This song has given many hope to move on.
lyrics
You've left one too many scars,
On these broken arms...
And I'm about,
To shut the lights out!
(Bleh!)
I know it's hard to still believe,
Especially when so many people deceive,
But believe me when I say,
You will see a brighter day.
I'm not saying you have to get over it,
But I swear there's so much more.
Although, I know life's so easy to quit,
You have no idea what's in store.
Just hold on, ‘cause everything will be okay.
You don’t have to do this alone, ‘cause we’re here to stay.
So, scenes and emos and punks unite,
We're all together in this same goddamn fight,
And every other outcast known to man,
This is our battle cry, this is our final stand!
Here we go, sound the alarms again,
And sing along with your "self-harm friends".
Go ahead and make your choice,
Continue to "Cleanse" or make heard your voice!
In the end your life is a war,
But it's up to you whether or not it's yours.
Promise me,
Next time you bleed,
You'll at least take a single moment,
To sit back and rethink.
You only meant to hurt yourself,
But now the others who care,
Have to watch their loved one,
Slowly disappear.

Hailing from Shelton, Washington, SORROW'S EDGE is a band looking to push the boundaries of the music industry even further.
We don't play music because we think it's cool or because we think it'll make us rich, we play music to connect to people and bring people together. Whether they find solace in our music or they just think it sounds badass, we want to speak for a generation....more
