about

Unlike Track 2, this song's clean intro has a much happier vibe to it, with sounds of nature in the background. Soon the distortion kicks in and the song picks up. Soulful vocals flood the listener's ears up until the heavy choruses. A melodic break-down wraps it all up at the end.

lyrics

The day I finally left,
Was the best day of my life.
I've never felt so strong,
Taking the world on.
Out on our own,
And out of our minds (oh),
Far away from home,
This is our time.

Do you remember our names?
The words that we used to say.
We'll be something some day!
We'll be something some day.

Take a look at me,
And tell me how it feels,
To know I finally rose above,
To know I'm something real.
And look at yourself,
You're a nothing now,
You used to rule the hallways,
But now you're just stuck in this town.

The difference is that,
I've always had my dreams.
Now you're plagued by nightmares,
'Cause you couldn't seem to see.
Out on your own,
And out of your mind (oh),
Far away from home,
You're out of time.

Do you remember our names?
The words that we used to say.

Take a look at me,
And tell me how it feels,
To know I finally rose above,
To know I'm something real.
And look at yourself,
You're a nothing now,
You used to rule the hallways,
But now you're just stuck in this town.
